Dermal fillers
Dermal fillers are such a great treatment whether you want to smooth wrinkles, reshape, add volume, reduce eyebags, treat skin laxity, sun damage or simply just hydrate. They can be used to treat the whole face.
We use Juvederm® & Belotero® dermal fillers at Youthful Solution. Juvederm is the leading brand of facial fillers worldwide, whilst Belotero has a large range of fillers with different properties, enabling us to find the right product for your face. Both Juvederm® & Belotero® are approved by the FDA in America, which follows the most stringent approval process for pharmaceutical grade products. As we grow older, our skin loses moisture, elasticity and volume, all of these things are common signs of ageing can begin to show the signs of ageing. Juvéderm® & Belotero® facial fillers can gently ease wrinkles and add volume in a subtle way. They are made using advanced technology, have a good safety profile and offer natural looking and long lasting results.

How does it work?
Skin is constantly moisturised from within by hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring cell component. Hyaluronic acid absorbs moisture and keeps your skin well hydrated for a youthful look. As we age, our skin loses hyaluronic acid, causing it to become dry and and lose volume, allowing wrinkles and folds to appear. Juvederm® & Belotero® contain Hyaluronic acid and can be used to reduce and smooth deeper lines, restore skin volume for a gentle lifting effect, and subtly reshape and redefine your facial contours. All the fillers we use also contain a local anaesthetic which helps minimise discomfort during the procedure.
What can I expect?
As fillers are non-surgical, there is very little recovery time. Swelling after the procedure is fairly common but usually resolves within 24-48 hours. The amount of filler used and the sites treated vary from person to person to achieve the look that you want. You may find that people comment on your refreshed, bright look rather than being able to pin-point the actual reason you look better, which demonstrates that the results are subtle and natural looking. The effects of Juvederm® & Belotero® typically last up to 6-9 months, whilst the premium Juvederm Vycross® range can last up to 12-18 months.
Possible side effects
Some people experience a little tenderness, swelling or bruising around the injection sites. This typically settles within 24-48 hours after the treatment and is generally a minor complication. There are some more serious (but thankfully, rare) complications that can be associated with facial fillers - most notably blood vessel occlusion. In order to minimise this risk it is vital to ensure that your treatment is undertaken by someone familiar with the facial anatomy & skilled in injection techniques. It is recommended that you avoid additional treatments in the treated area for the next 7 days.
